Last week there was completed the process of approving of the perspective plans of forming territories of 24 hromadas, covering the whole territory of Ukraine. But for the reform opponents’ resistance – certain politicians, local business elites, authorities being afraid of losing their positions, etc., it would have been done long ago, and nowadays all the hromadas would have equal opportunities to develop. It might seem useless to dwell upon the issue but there is a reason to do it – fuelling tensions around the 120 allegedly liquidated AHs, having been created following the principle of voluntariness.
