The Government approved the development strategy for Zakarpattia and amendments to perspective plans of five more regions

On 18 December 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the perspective plan for hromada territories' development of Zakarpattia Oblast and amendments to development strategies for Luhansk, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv and Chernihiv Oblasts.

These amendments to regional long-term plans will allow hromadas to switch to direct inter-budgetary relations with the state budget, and obtain a subvention for infrastructure development.
