Do urban AHs forget about villages: Berezivska hromada debunks myths
The work in the villages has already started in the Berezivska town amalgamated hromada (Berezivka Rayon of the Odesa Oblast), where the first elections took place in October.
“At our meetings and discussions, the village residents expressed their fears that the town would forget about them after amalgamation and would simply squeeze out funds for their land. Less than two months have passed and, I hope, these fears are being gradually dispelled,” says Valeriy Hryhorash, mayor of the town, to Odesa Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.
