Almost 800 projects in all Oblasts of Ukraine will be financed in 2017 by the State Fund for Regional Development, Zubko  

The Government approved an additional list of investment regional development projects to be financed in the total amount of more than UAH 98 million within the framework of the State Fund for Regional Development. It was so reported by Vice-Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine  Hennadii Zubko after the meeting of the Government.

"Those funds are being channelled for such investment programmes as the construction and renovation of social infrastructure facilities (hospitals, schools, and out-patient clinics), the renewal of bridge crossing infrastructure, carrying out thermal modernisation, etc. In general, almost 800 investment projects in all Oblasts (Regions) of Ukraine will be financed in 2017 within the framework of the State Fund for Regional Development", Hennadii Zubko noted.

He informed that the draft resolution on financing for the account of the State Fund for Regional Development includes projects on comprehensive measures related to thermal modernisation of schools in Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Odesa, and Ternopil Oblasts, renovation of health care institutions, kindergartens, schools, stadiums in Zaporizhia, Odesa, Poltava, and Chernihiv Oblasts, modernisation of a road bridge crossing in Luhansk Oblast, construction of sports grounds with artificial turf in Kherson Oblast.

It is a reminder that the total amount of financing by the State Fund for Regional Development for 2017 is UAH 3.5 billion.
