Undoubtedly, the new wording of the law On Local State Administrations must be passed as soon as possible. Within the upcoming weeks optimal solutions to some disputable issues will be found and the bill will be registered at the Verkhovna Rada for people’s deputies to be able to consider it during the plenary week starting on October, 20.

It was highlighted by Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, commenting on the first meeting outcomes of the working group implementing the decentralisation reform in Ukraine, created by the Committee on the state power organization, local self-government, regional and urban development.
