The author Tetiana Lapinska, a private entrepreneur, a member of Pervomaisk District Council, a representative of Oleksiivska AH in Kharkiv Oblast, Pervomaisk district, shares her thoughts in an essay “What does a woman want?”:
“Every day, I keep on looking for answers to the main questions. How can I courageously defend what I consider correct? How can I embody values, which bring me trust of people around me? How can I hold my own under the pressure of agreeing with the majority? In order not to lose confidence in myself, in my own power, I am always mentally prepared to go against the flow. Every time, when I choose to be myself, I hold on tight to my own value system. This is what inspires and pushes forward.”
