The time has come to determine the term of voluntary amalgamation of hromadas. To do this, we need to consult with all stakeholders in the process: hromadas, specialised local self-government associations, international partners, wrote Hennadii Zubko, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, on his Facebook-page after delivering a speech at the “Dialogue Day” forum of local self-government representatives in Ternopil.

“Probably, one more year of voluntary amalgamation will be needed. And then we will make a decision on the administrative amalgamation of hromadas, according to approved perspective plans in the oblast councils. I've told about this today at the forum of the Association of Ukrainian Cities. And this message has found a strong support of the audience in the hall,” wrote Hennadii Zubko.
