A month has passed, since the citizens learnt that the Central Election Commission will not assign elections in amalgamated hromadas, till it has clarifications from the Parliament’s Committee on Legal Policy and Justice on the legal status of referendums. To make it official, the Central Election Commission adopted its resolution No. 122 on 9 August 2018.
Since one month, the Central Election Commission has been receiving requests and demands to remedy the situation and allow elections in AHs. However, clarifications from the Parliament’s Committee and the decision of the Central Election Commission are still pending.
