The Lymanska amalgamated hromada, located in the Tatarbunar Rayon of the Odesa Oblast, prepares provisions on the hromada tourist council within the framework of elaboration of its Development Strategy. Information and advisory assistance is provided by Viktor Bondaruk, regional development adviser of the Odesa Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.
According to him, while working on the Development Strategy, it turned out that there is a certain lack of communication between the authorities and business, operating on the territory of the resort area of Katranky.
“Therefore, as a tool for improving the relationships, it was proposed to create a tourist council that will bring together all the Katranky entrepreneurs, develop proposals for the development of tourism and recreation and submit them to the village council in consolidated form. The provision on the council is proposed to be approved by the executive committee of the village council, today it is being discussed and adjusted,” explained the adviser.
