Second issue of “Million-Hryvnia Hromada” project: hromadas made dreams of their residents come true

On Sunday, 4 February, the  1+1 TV channel released the second issue of the social, business and entertainment project “Million-Hryvnia Hromada” to tell about the process of decentralisation in Ukraine in the first-ever reality format.

The project was developed jointly with the  United States Agency for International Development “Decentralisation Offering Better Results and Efficiency” (DOBRE) Programme.

The reality project features 5 out of 665 amalgamated hromadas (AHs) competing for UAH 1 million provided by the WHISEF fund, they will be able to use for their development. In each issue, hromadas-participants receive assignments from the programme presenters and investors Iryna Ozymok and Dmytro Ohnyov. By fulfilling these assignments AHs receive virtual funds and approach the main prize.

In the second issue of the project, hromadas received a new task to implement a social initiative and make the dream of one Ukrainian family come true during 48 hours.
