During the working visit to the Odesa Oblast, President Petro Poroshenko met with representatives of the Mayakivska rural amalgamated hromada, that comprises three communities as a result of decentralisation: the Mayaky village council of the Bilyayivka Rayon, Nadlymanske village council of the Ovidiopol Rayon, and Udobne village council of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Rayon.
At the meeting, the Head of State congratulated the local residents on the coming New Year and Christmas and presented 7 certificates for social housing.
“Today, you see the benefits of decentralisation I went with to the presidential elections. I said that local budgets will turn from salary payment cash desks into the opportunities of real implementation of financial resources, when hromada decides how to spend funds,” said the President during his visit to a newly built modern stadium, constructed due to decentralisation.
