Finalists of the 2021 Best Practices of Local Self-Government competition were awarded in Kyiv on December, 21.

This year 28 practices of local self-government bodies were recognized to be the best.

In his welcoming address the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov claimed:

«Today the role of local authorities is getting enhanced in Ukraine, with municipalities proving their capacity and becoming drivers of the whole state development. This is an indicator of decentralization success. So, we have to support and develop municipality achievements».
