On September, 30 at the ICTV studio the awarding ceremony of Our Municipality competition winner took place.

“Over the last few years, the USA, represented by USAID, has been assisting and supporting decentralization in Ukraine. Within the DOBRE project USAID has been cooperating with a hundred of local municipalities in ten oblasts of Ukraine. It does not matter who has become the winner, as all the municipalities have won the competition. I hope that from here on in they will be agents of changes both locally and nationally,” – commented James Hope, USAID/Ukraine and Belarus Mission Director.

The Voznesenska municipality of the Mykolaiv oblast won the competition and was awarded with UAH 500 000 for its project “Compost waste – unite the municipality!”.
