Vyacheslav Nehoda: Amending the bill On Local Self-Government in Ukraine will make it possible to enhance the municipality capability

The division of local self-government authorities due to the change of administrative and territorial arrangement has been discussed by the participants of the consensus meeting, headed by Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda.

«Success of the local self government and administrative and territorial power arrangement reform, achieved for the last years, are undoubtful. It is proved by the decentralization support by municipality residents and its outcomes high evaluation by international partners. But for the reform to be completed successfully it is necessary to amend the law, making it possible to arrange the authorities of local self-government due to the territorial arrangement and the budget legislation changes, as well as to improve the efficiency of local self-government», —claimed Vyacheslav Nehoda.
