Besides a thorough investigation of municipality capability, carried out by the MinRegion, it is important to clearly understand the efficiency of local self-government bodies, functioning in the municipalities as both factors are related to and influence municipality development, municipalities’ progress in ensuring quality and accessible services, exactly what the local self-government reform is aimed at. It was claimed by Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, during the panel discussion «Measuring the local self-government efficiency» of the VIII All-Ukrainian Local Self-Government Forum.
