January, 15: the law, making it possible to serve at local self-government bodies at the age of 65+, is coming into force

On January, 13, 2021 the President of Ukraine signed Law of Ukraine №1086-IX as of 16.12.2020 On Amending the Law of Ukraine On Public Service in terms of cancelling the age restrictions for serving in public service, envisaging that service at local self-government bodies can be prolonged but not more than for five years.

Thus, from here on in, the age of 65 is not the age limit for local self-government bodies servants.
