Four progressive hromadas have obtained additional funding by the USAID DOBRE Programme

Four hromadas have got awards and $ 50 thousand from the USAID DOBRE Programme for the greatest achievements in capability development. The awarding ceremony took place in the press-centre of Ukraine Crisis Media-Centre today on the occasion of the Local Self-Government Day, December, 7.

“It is of vital importance for each hromada to enjoy the atmosphere of development. Actually we have started the new history of local self-government development, as it has never before been the case for all hromadas (no matter whether it is a town of the oblast, rayon significance or a village or a settlement) to enjoy equal state status. Today all hromadas have direct inter-budget relations with the state. They will also have equal authorities and resources, – said Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
