The DOBRE programme experience in AHs has testified to the fact that even under the pandemic conditions and at the background of a decrease in revenues to the local budgets, 93% AHs have continued the participatory budget realisation.
As the mechanism is developing, new challenges emerge such as sharing experience with the new members of Participatory Budget Commissions and the mechanism endurance in the future, without the support of international organisations. For the purpose of arranging the participatory budget procedure, experts of the Kharkiv University Consortium public union have developed the Roadmap of the Participatory Budget Introduction, based on the experience of the DOBRE hromadas-partners in the Kharkiv oblast: Starosaltivska, Merefyanska, Zolochivska and Malynivska AHs.
