The decentralisation process started in 2015 in Ukraine has been going on, and over the past four years, 832 amalgamated hromadas have switched to inter-budgetary relations with the state budget. By the end of this year, amalgamation of hromadas is to be completed, and we must be ready for this,  as Deputy Minister of Finance Hennadii Plis put it during a meeting with heads of oblast and Kyiv city state administrations and their representatives of Finance departments to discuss issues of expanding the revenue base and increasing the level of financial support for local budgets.
