ANNOUNCEMENT! Study on hromadas’ amalgamation in ethnocontact regions to be presented on 10 December in Kyiv

The Association for Promoting Self-Organisation of the Population invites to the presentation and discussion of the results of the analytical study “Amalgamation of Hromadas in Ethnocontact Regions: Features and Prospects”.

The presentation will take place on 10 December 2019 at “Ukraine” Hotel (4 Instytutska Str., 2nd floor, Maryinska Hall, Kyiv) from 10:00 till 12:30.

The study was conducted by the analytical centre of the NGO “Association for Promoting Self-Organisation of the Population” with the assistance of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.

It is dedicated to a comprehensive study of the situation with hromadas’ amalgamation in territories with compact residence of ethnic minorities in the Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Chernivtsi Oblasts. Among other things, the study provides an analysis of 40 in-depth interviews with hromada leaders from different ethnic backgrounds.

To participate in the event, one should register by 06 December 2019 by sending an email to samoorg@ukr.net indicating the participant’s name, position, e-mail and telephone number.
