On 14 August, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services to provide financing of programmes and projects for the development of regions, especially small cities and hromadas, including through the State Fund for Regional Development, from August this year. This is enshrined in the Government's minutes. The financing schedule should allow for the timely tendering and completion of the initiated projects.

It should be mentioned that in July this year, on the initiative of the Prime Minister, the Government decided to allocate additional funds to support small cities’ development.
