In May 2026, in compliance with budgetary legislation, the Ministry of Finance ensured the allocation of inter-budgetary transfers to the general fund of local budgets amounting to UAH 29.2 billion (UAH 9 billion more than in April), representing 99.9% of the funds allocated from the state budget for May, which includes:

• basic subsidies – UAH 2.6 billion (100%);
• additional subsidies – UAH 1.7 billion (100%).

As of 1 June 2026, the balance of funds in the accounts of local budgets and budgetary institutions under the general and special funds amounted to UAH 138.1 billion, which is UAH 42.9 billion more than at the beginning of 2026.

Local governments will continue to finance priority needs at the local level using these resources.
