Experts of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and the SKL International Project have analyzed the performance of local budgets in the first quarter of 2019.

Revenues of the general fund of local budgets

In the first three months of 2019, the general fund of local budgets of Ukraine (excluding intergovernmental transfers) received UAH 60.5 billion. This is 23.9% of the approved annual plan.

Compared to the same period in 2018, the revenues grew by UAH 8.8 billion, or by 17.1%. At the same time, the growth rate of revenues in the current year has slightly decreased, as in the same period of 2018, compared to 2017, the revenue growth was 23.3%.

Traditionally, the most part in the revenues of local budgets was received from the payment of personal income tax – UAH 35.9 billion, or 59.3% of the total sum. Compared to the first quarter of 2018, the tax revenues grew by UAH 6.7 billion, or by 22.8%.
