Ukraine is interested in developing a dialogue with France on the implementation of the decentralisation reform, which is a priority for our country. Small and medium business entities of France have already expressed interest in working with amalgamated hromadas, informed Hennadii Zubko, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, during live broadcast on the 5th Channel.
“This segment of the French business is interested in small sectors, primarily – in products’ processing. They have modern technologies, opportunities and are ready to work in Ukraine with such a partner as local self-government,” noted Hennadii Zubko.
The Vice Prime Minister also said that, following the results of the 7th meeting of the mixed Ukrainian-French Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, a route map on mechanisms for reducing labour migration from Ukraine was developed.
“France is interested in human resources, but not in the labour migration of Ukrainians. The implementation of the decentralisation reform in Ukraine, creation of high-quality infrastructure, attraction of investments from France or other countries, new jobs and salary increase can show young Ukrainians the prospect of living and working, creating families and bringing up their children here, in Ukraine,” said Mr Zubko.
