A video surveillance system already works in two villages of the Davydivska amalgamated hromada. It has already helped to reduce the crime rate; that is why, there are plans to launch it in all settlements of the AH. This is reported by the Reform Office at the Lviv regional office of the Association of Ukrainian Cities.
Ihor Bubenchyk, starosta of Pasiky-Zubrytski starosta district in the Davydivska AH, tells that the first cameras were installed in the village of Pasiky-Zubrytski in 2015. Now, there are more than 25 cameras in place covering all roads to the village to register vehicles entering and leaving the village. It is also planned to install tall bars in Pasiky-Zubrytski to restrict the traffic of high-tonnage vehicles which severely damage the local roads.
