What opportunities do pupils of the new Ukrainian school have? What opportunities does the education reform give to schools themselves? These were the topics discussed in the media school which took place on 7-8 September in Cherkasy as part of the all-Ukrainian project “Media School for Decentralisation. Course II”.

“When I asked one of the first-grade pupils if he really wanted to go to school, his eyes were shining. He told me that everything looked so great at school and that it was amazing to go there!” says Iryna Hryshchenko, deputy head of the Bilozirska amalgamated hromada.

Being a former teacher herself with 30 years of experience including 13 years in the position of a school director, she told us about the implementation of the education reform in the amalgamated hromada.
