AHs in mountain regions expect stronger budgets due to taxation of forest land
AHs in mountain regions expect to boost their budgets, if they receive revenues from the tax on the use of forest resources. This became possible thanks to a new law which is due to enter into force in the beginning of 2019.
This was reported by Maksym Chopey, executive director of the Development Agency for AHs, at the press conference which took place at the Ivano-Frankivsk Local Government Development Centre established with the support of U-LEAD with Europe.
