Chernihiv Oblast residents can now get detailed information about the school or college, find out whether an educational institution has a school bus and check the state of roads, without leaving their homes. Information about educational institutions is now available online.
According to the Chernihiv Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, the Department of Education and Science of the Chernihiv Oblast State Administration visualised educational institutions network in the oblast, by creating an interactive map.
The map of the oblast shows information about general educational institutions, hub schools, boarding schools, as well as institutions of vocational education, institutes and universities.
The map visualises not only the location of a school or institute, but also a brief information about it and even the state of the road, used to bring children to this institution, when necessary.
The map helps to study the network of hub institutions of the Chernihiv Oblast in detail. Currently there are 31 hub institutions and 16 branches.
As noted by the educational department, the final network will be formed after the completion of the decentralisation process and formation of AHs in the oblast.
