We would like to invite media representatives to the official Awarding Ceremony of the winners of the photo contest "Big Pictures of Small Places: My Hromada - Our Future", that will take place on 8 June 2018 at ArtHall D12 (12, Desiatynna street, 7th floor, Kyiv) starting from 15:00 and lasting till 18.30. The winners will be greeted personally by Vice Prime Minister, Head of MinRegion, Mr. Hennadii Zubko.
The photo contest "Big Pictures of Small Places: My Hromada - Our Future", which took place from 23 April to 20 May 2018, was organised by the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing, and Communal Services of Ukraine (MinRegion) with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme to show the beauty and diversity of life in Ukrainian hromadas and the changes they are undergoing towards modern, capable hromadas. Active people are key players in this process of change! You can have a look at all photos submitted at https://hromady.photos/
The winning photos that have been selected out of 1200 photos submitted will be presented in an exhibition that will travel across Ukraine.
The ceremony will present a nice forum for discussing changes at local level with citizens and the leadership of MinRegion as well as international donors as well as to exchange with representatives of other Ukrainian regions.
Please register to the event as soon as possible, latest by 18:00, 7 June 2018, via e-mail to maksym.kytsiuk@giz.de to confirm your participation.
Contact person: Mr. Maksym Kytsyuk, (063) 576 1839, (067) 510 1569.
