The ownership of the project technologies is currently critical for the implementation of the strategic development tasks of amalgamated hromadas. To reach the desired result, there is a need in sufficiently trained AH staff. According to the results of the studies, conducted by the Dnipropetrovsk Local Government Development Centre, supported by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, and with the participation of scientists from the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of Public Administration, the model of project maturity of hromadas has been created for the first time. It is three-tiered and allows to reliably assess the level of knowledge of hromada experts in project management.

"Such a model has been created for the first time in Ukraine," said Olena Tertyshna, Director of the Dnipropetrovsk Local Government Development Centre, at the press conference at the IA "Mist-Dnipro". "For this purpose surveys was conducted in more than 50 hromadas of the oblast. They proved that the level of knowledge and personnel policy in AHs remains the number one issue."

"Knowledge in project management will help to attract funds for hromada development," added Yuriy Sharov, professor and head of chair of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy for Public Administration.

The Dnipropetrovsk Local Government Development Centre regularly holds appropriate trainings and seminars for improving the knowledge of AH specialists.
