A two-day seminar on "Autonomisation of healthcare institutions and discussion of models of organisation of primary healthcare in AHs of the Sumy Oblast" was held in Sumy. During the workshop, Alisa Makarikhina, expert on the healthcare reform implementation in Ukraine, told the representatives of the AHs of the Sumy Oblast about the main components of the healthcare reform at the primary level. According to Alisa Makarikhina, during 2018, AHs will have a chance to turn their healthcare facilities from state communal institutions into communal non-profit enterprises without losing their license. In addition, during 2018, they should improve the quality of the medical services for the population and make new standards of healthcare provision as a norm.
