As reported by the Central Electoral Commission, the process of the first elections of deputies of village, settlement and city councils of amalgamated hromadas and corresponding village, settlement and city heads of 40 amalgamated hromadas (AHs) in 17 oblasts of Ukraine begins on 10 March.

It is worth reminding that the first local elections were appointed in 40 AHs on 29 April 2018. They include 133 local councils (4 urban, 16 settlement, and 113 rural councils).

The CEC announces that the process of nominating candidates for the deputies, as well as village, settlement and city heads at the relevant first local elections, begins on 26 March.

In total, according to preliminary estimates, more than 263 thousand voters will be able to participate in these elections.
