At the beginning of 2018, a number of first elections of starostas of the villages and rural settlements of amalgamated hromadas (AHs) will take place in Ukraine.

Thus, according to the Central Electoral Commission, the first elections of starosta of the village of Slobidka of the Kozliv rural AH of the Kozova Rayon in the Ternopil Oblast will be held on 21 January.

In total, over the period from 21 January to 4 March 2018, 15 starostas will be elected in 10 amalgamated hromadas in 9 regions of Ukraine.
