How can amalgamated hromadas achieve financial independence? – Tetyana Tatarchuk, director of Chernivtsi LGDC

Tetyana Tatarchuk, director of the Chernivtsi Local Government Development Centre, told the “Influential Aspect” how amalgamated hromadas evolve in the Chernivtsi Oblast in 2018.

Though with all this, the oblast remains subsidised. We have only two non-subsidised hromadas – the Kitsmanska and Storozhynetska ones,” said Tetyana Tatarchuk. “Thus, this year our priority is to search for new additional internal resources of hromadas, and their optimisation. We will work to increase the local budgets of AHs.”
