Year of work of Zatyshanska AH: five development priorities

In 2017, the Zatyshanska amalgamated hromada of the Zakharivka Rayon of the Odesa Oblast has gone through the process of establishing and implementing its first projects, as the first year of hromada’s activity has passed. The Odesa Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion, shares what this period was like for the AH.

The Zatyshanska hromada was formed through amalgamation of Zatyshshya rural settlement council and Torosove village council. It consists of 13 settlements with more than 5 thousand citizens.

Since the beginning of its work, the hromada has set itself a number of priorities with road repair among them.

The second priority is the establishment of a system for providing communal services to citizens.

Another priority direction is the restoration of street lighting in the village of Torosove and rural settlement of Zatyshshya.

The fourth AH priority is the provision of high-quality potable water to the population.

The fifth important priority is the improvement of facilities and equipment of hromada’s educational institutions.
