Within the framework of decentralisation of the system of state architectural and building control, new town-planning powers were acquired by the Vilkhovetska amalgamated hromada of the Zakarpattya Oblast. This is the second settlement in the region to independently control the construction on its own territory.
Local inspection in the village of Vilkhivtsi will carry out architectural and building control over the objects of a small consequence class (responsibility), and that is the overwhelming majority of construction on the AH territory.
In particular, the newly established body will register documents for the start of construction works, check construction sites and accept the objects into service.
New urban planning powers enable the Vilkhovetska AH to effectively develop their own territory, based on the priority tasks and needs.
The local inspection is located at the address: 118 Tsentralna Street, Vilkhivtsi village, Zakarpattya Oblast. Its powers are also extended to the villages of Vilkhivchyk, Sasovo, Dobryanske, Vilkhivtsi-Lazy and Rakovo.
As of today, the powers of the State Architectural and Building Inspection were granted to 89 settlements, including 21 oblast cities: Lutsk, Mariupol, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Uzhgorod, Odesa, Kyiv, Dnipro, Sumy, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Severodonetsk, Vinnytsya, Chernihiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Mykolayiv, and Rivne.
