Вперше на Миколаївщині стався, відверто кажучи, довгоочікуваний прецедент: громада, прості люди, яких часто-густо дехто не хоче і чути і бачити, вийшла з ініціативою і опротестовує, спираючись на силу власної громадської думки, рішення про відмову в об`єднанні, яке суперечить її волі. Це свідчить про те, що люди стали безпосередніми учасниками децентралізації, а значить процеси об`єднання територіальних громад на Миколаївщині наближаються до піку усвідомленої громадської активності.
