Due to school meals having become more expensive some pupils refuse them as not all parents can afford them. For such cases, resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 305 On Proving the Standards and Procedure for Organising Meals at Educational Establishments and Children Recreational Establishments envisages the list of children categories, provided by educational establishment founders (the local council) with free hot meals at the public and communal establishments, funded by the corresponding budgets, according to the meal regime of the establishment.
