How to improve the efficiency of associations of local self-government bodies’ work and what should be amended in our legislation for it. Such issues were discussed during the VI-th Forum «Efficient local administration as a precondition of a democratic and law-governed state».

Elena Drenianin, the Head of the Committee on governance of the Congress of local and regional authorities of the Council of Europe, emphasized a significant role of associations of local self-government bodies in implementing the European Charter of local self-government, protecting their communities’ interests.
