The bill, improving the procedure of concluding municipality cooperation agreements, is ready to be considered by the Parliament

On September, 8 the Parliamentary Committee on the Public Authorities Organisation, Local Self-Government, Regional and Urban Development recommended the Verkhovna Rada to take bill №5742 as a basis.

«Municipality cooperation is becoming more and more urgent for the newly established municipalities, particularly, in terms of managing communal property facilities, having transferred from the rayon to the municipality level. That is why it must be supported and the intermunicipal cooperation procedures must be simplified as much as possible», - commented Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda during the Committee meeting.
