President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi returned Law On Amending Certain Laws of Ukraine on the Starosta Institution Development (bill № 4535), approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on April, 15, 2021, to the Verkhovna Rada with his propositions.

The document is reported to be aimed at improving the legal regulation of issues concerning the starosta institution and starosta districts formation. At the same time, the document contains amendments to the law on the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, not related to starosta issues.
