Law of Ukraine №805-IX On Amending some Enactments of Ukraine On Improving the Election Legislation of Ukraine as of 16.07.2020 having been enacted, the Law of Ukraine On the Local Self-Government in Ukraine has also been amended in terms of the legal status of village and settlement starostas. Consequently, social media and the expert environment have become chock-a-block with matters of argument, with some of them being controversial or demanding clarification. So they encourage a public discussion. Oleksandr Vrublevskyi, a starosta activity and AH cooperation expert, is highlighting the issues in the article.
