Announcement: 26.02.20 there will be held the discussion “Local Elections: How to Elect and be Elected According to the New Rules” in Kyiv

On February, 26 at 11-00 A.M. there will be conducted the discussion “Local Elections: How to Elect and be Elected according to the New Rules” at the press-centre of the Ukrainian Anti-Crisis Media-Centre (the Ukrainian House, 2, Khreschatyk Street).

The discussion is aimed at finding out how the novelties of the Election Code are perceived by the leading experts and local self-government representatives, what challenges may arise in case of transferring to a new system and how they can be overcome. The discussion will be focused on elections of heads and deputies of town, settlement, rayon and oblast councils.
