On February 24, 2020 the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the Organization of the State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning is hosting a meeting with the Council of Europe experts.

During the meeting it is planned to discuss the process of public consultations on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine in terms of the power decentralisation, possible areas of focus of the legislation amendments on powers and authority as well as protection of the local self-government rights in Ukraine and administrative supervision over the local self-government bodies.
