‘Decentralisation of power can be completed before the local elections,’ – claimed Oleksandr Kornienko, the head of the Sluha Narodu (The People’s Servant) party  in his interview for the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.

According to Oleksandr Kornienko, it is possible within two Verkhovna Rada sessions if 300 deputies vote for the Amending the Constitution of Ukraine in Terms of Power Decentralisation bill at the beginning of the fourth session on September, 3-4. Fortunately, the fourth session of the Verkhovna Rada starts on September, 1, whereas the local elections are to be held on September, 5.
