How Hromadas of the Vinnytsia Region Implement the Participatory Budget

Participatory budget practice is quiet common among AHs of the Vinnytsia Region as a mechanism of financial decentralisation. A public budget is a tool, making it possible to involve citizens to the realization of territory development projects, to raise the level of hromada budget usage transparency and efficiency, to enhance trust between the authorities and town and village dwellers.

Among the Vinnytsia Region hromadas, applying the participatory budget mechanisms, the leaders are the Vinnytska, Khmilnytska, Tulchynska, Nemyrivska, Hlukhovetska, Tomashpilska, Dashivska and Bratslavskaка amalgamated hromadas.
