On 4 January, in Chortkiv Town, 70 cars were granted to general practitioners and family doctors of Borshchiv (14), Buchach (9), Husiatyn (12), Zalishchyky (10), Monastyryska (7), Pidhaitsi (3) and Chortkiv (15) rayons.
'It is not such a big number, but these 70 cars will help provide quality medical services and healthcare, and even save lives of thousands of our citizens, namely the rural population. I should also mention that at the beginning of 2019, the deputies of the Ternopil Oblast Council allocated UAH 100 million for the purchase of EMS cars. To date, 42 cars have already been purchased. This will also allow to provide medical services quickly and efficiently to those who need them urgently,' said Viktor Ovcharuk, Chairman of the Ternopil Oblast Council.
