On October 30, the Komyshuvaska amalgamated hromada of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast with a population of 13,000 residents will host the opening of the Administrative Service Centre.

The opening ceremony will be attended by:

• Vyacheslav Negoda, First Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories,
• Christian Danielsson, Director-General for Neigbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations at the European Commission,
• Matti Maasikas, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine,
• Cecilia Kruna, Head of International Cooperation of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida),
• Susanna Dellans, Sida Programme Director of U-LEAD with Europe,
• Leaders of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast State Administration.

The hromada has successfully cooperated with U-LEAD with Europe in the institutional establishment of the ASC, and has been fully equipped with IT appliances and furniture for 10 workplaces, including a remote one. The premises of the Centre are equipped for people with disabilities and also have a children's play corner. The hromada carried out major overhaul of the ASC’s building at the expense of local budget funds. The ASC of the Komyshuvaska hromada will provide 89 services, including the most necessary ones.

All ASC employees have completed a five-module training programme developed by Ukrainian and Swedish experts. Each module consisted of seminars on business ethics, gender issues, the role of local governments in the delivery of administrative services, and other important topics that the proper ASC team faces every day.

The opening of the ASC will take place at 9:00 at the address: 45, Bohdan Khmelnytskyi St., Komyshuvakha urban-type settlement, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
