What did Dnipropetrovsk Oblast hromadas taught their Luhansk Oblast colleagues?

Partners of Phase IV of the Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Decentralisation Support in Ukraine” (DESPRO) – Bilovodska and Krasnorichenska amalgamated hromadas of the Lugansk Oblast – visited the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on 26-27 September.

During the years of cooperation, combining the efforts and resources of the DESPRO project, the oblast council and local hromadas, 23 projects were implemented in the field of potable water supply for a total amount of UAH 21.4 million, and since 2018 a new component has been added – increasing the capacity of local communal enterprises as a trusted provider of potable water to hromadas.

During the visit, the participants spoke with representatives of the local self-government projects support department of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council.

After meeting with representatives of the department for support of local self-government of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, the participants of the study trip got acquainted with the experience of work of executive committees and communal enterprises of the Vakulivska and Novooleksandrivska AHs.
