The Delyatznska AH in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast launches the project “Preservation of the historical and cultural heritage by reproducing sleevelss jackets and Delyatyn-type vyshyvankas”. This was reported by the Ivano-Frankivsk Local Government Development Centre of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.

“Within the framework of the project, an agreement on cooperation between the Delyatynska AH and Local Self-Government Association “Euroregion Carpathians-Ukraine” was signed in Lviv,” informs the Ivano-Frankivsk LGDC.

According to Vira Kukhtaruk, secretary of the Delyatynska AH, the cost of the project is UAH 315 thousand, out of which 250 thousand will be received by the hromada to implement the project, and the rest will be allocated from AH’s own budget. For this money the hromada plans to sew 10 sleeveless fur jackets and 10 male and female vyshyvankas of Delyatyn type.
